Kristen K. Murray MS, OTR/L, HPCS
Executive Director
Kristen is a lifelong horse woman, having owned and shown Arabian horses for over 25 years. A native of Western New York, she grew up an active member in Erie County 4-H and the AHANY horse club. Her passion for the incorporation of equine movement and the natural environment as treatment strategies in OT practice ignited as a graduate student at D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY. Kristen went on to pursue clinical specialty through the American Hippotherapy Certification Board in the incorporation of equine movement, or hippotherapy, as a powerful treatment strategy in her professional practice. She is one of only five therapists in NY state, and just over 100 in the world to achieve this prestigious professional distinction.
In addition to being a licensed Occupational Therapist, Kristen is a registered therapist with The Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, Intl. (PATH, Intl.). and holds certification as a PATH, Intl. certified adaptive riding instructor.
Kristen is passionate about providing the highest quality evidenced based therapy services, empowering clients of all ages through engagement in the natural world promoting lasting functional results. Kristen is honored to share her experience, knowledge and passion to serve the clients and families of Western NY.
